The 3rd Annual Legislative Lunch & Learn was held on December 16th, 2025, at the Indiana Statehouse! Zachary Stock led an overview of the Legislative Process, Mutia Abdul Basit shared insights on coalitions and advocacy, and Rabbi Aaron Spiegel offered guidance on delivering effective testimony.

Attendees enjoyed lunch together, practiced a mock testimony exercise, and gained hands-on experience in shaping reentry policy. We were honored to welcome Senator Andrea Hunley and Representative Alex Zimmerman for a great panel discussion, including “Flip the Script” - a unique segment where legislators asked questions of the audience. A huge thank-you to everyone who participated, asked thoughtful questions, and stepped up to practice their testifying skills. Their engagement strengthens our collective voice for reentry reform.
